First, apologies for not having written in a while - as with most of us, the end of the year has been quite busy! However, the upside is that I can fill a post with meaningful outputs from all that work:
Business model research
1) A research report on creative immersive productions and their business models came out the other week - this was part of our work at Digital Catapult for the Audience of the Future programme, led by myself:
The UK Creative Immersive Landscape 2020: Business models in transition
History of UK immersive
2) As part of the same programme, with the UK Research and Innovation office, Digital Catapult launched an online timeline that will be cataloguing the most influential immersive content from the UK since the start of the century. Check it out:
First batch of entries are there, more will come soon, and we invite anyone to submit their suggestions of noteworthy UK content to be included going forward.
New podcast episode

Things to come in 2021
On podcasting, I am planning to make some changes. Substack, where I host this newsletter, offers a podcasting feature, so expect to see a closer integration with the newsletter and my podcasting activities. Stay tuned!
Alright, with that, I wish everyone happy holidays and a wonderful new year - we all know that 2021 will be better than this one!
Stay safe,
Aki
